Once you have your certificate from the CPSO you can apply for:
- New to Canada physicians will need a Social Insurance Number (SIN) to apply for a bank account. Instructions can be found on your LMIA letter.
- Medical insurance through the CMPA
- Become a member of the Ontario Medical Association (OMA)
- OHIP Billing will be your primary source of revenue. You will need a Canadian bank account and CPSO certificate number to apply. The application can be found here.
