We are actively seeking physicians who are not just looking for a place to work, but a place to call home.

In Central Ontario, there are multiple community physician recruitment programs working together to attract Canadians studying abroad and doctors from the UK, US, Ireland, and Australia. This is facilitated by a simplified licensing and repatriation process to help physicians hoping to work in these regions.

The region stretches from Dufferin County in the south to the rapidly growing City of Barrie and the southern Georgian Bay communities of Midland/Penetanguishene, Wasaga Beach and Collingwood.  Central Ontario also includes the eastern Georgian Bay shoreline to Parry Sound and the French River, made famous by the Group of Seven’s painting of the 30,000 Islands of the bay.  The sunshine city of Orillia is a gateway to the world-renown Muskoka region, home to Gravenhurst, Bracebridge, Huntsville and the lakes and bays which are home to a million visitors a year.  Near north communities of Burks Falls, Sundridge, and Powassan round out our Central Ontario catchment area.

The Need in Central Ontario:
