Data collected and stored within our secure Zoho system is strictly for internal use by OPRA for purposes including, but not limited to, membership management, physician recruitment tracking, and internal reporting. Only preselected physician recruiters are authorized to register on the website and gain access to the “members only” section. Data entered into Zoho will not be shared or distributed externally. Access is limited exclusively to authorized OPRA personnel for operational purposes.

OPRA uses Google Analytics to help us understand how visitors engage with our website. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect data such as pages visited, the time spent on each page, and other user interactions. These cookies allow us to improve the user experience and optimize our website content.

As we do not have comments or general user registrations on our website, we only retain data related to the preselected physician recruiters who have registered for access to the “members only” section. Data entered into Zoho will be retained as per OPRA’s internal retention policy for membership and recruitment purposes. Data may be retained as required by law or operational needs.

What Rights You Have Over Your Data

Under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you have the right to request access to the personal data OPRA holds about you, as well as the right to request corrections or deletion of that data, subject to legal or operational requirements. Where Your Data Is Sent

Visitor interactions, including any potential interactions with embedded content, may be monitored through external services. However, OPRA does not use third-party services to process personal data related to website comments. Your personal data will not be transferred outside of Canada.
